We are switching the structure around somewhat. There will be three areas for each day:
1) Talks, panels, and interviews on the main stage.
2) Break-out discussions and small group sessions led by participants on topics of interest.
3) People will be randomly assigned to a collective or "tribe" of 10-12 people, whom they will meet with each day to discuss issues explored and their experiences at the event. After a series of talks, for example, there will be time in one's tribe to discuss the subjects.
We very excited to be using the Concourse Exhibition Center, with two sizable rooms that will allow us space to intersperse both talks and break-out sessions each day of the event.
This year will be a 3 1/2 day Conference, beginning at 6pm on Thursday, February 21st, 2013 and ending Sunday, February 24th at 4pm.
You have two choices of tickets, one with lunches and one without. If you choose without, there are some restaurants in the area; or you can bring your own food; or, we will likely have food vendors from whom you can purchase food. If you purchase a ticket with lunches, they will be served Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

You can purchase tickets above. Once one category sells out, the next pricing group kicks in.
Please note: You can no longer change names on tickets after they have been purchased. We stagger the pricing so people with less funds have a chance to purchase them early, and so those who came before can come again. As the conference has sold out and gained in popularity, it means people who bought early tickets could later resell them for more money. That is no longer possible. You can still cancel tickets, however, based on our cancellation policy.
Questions and Answers
Can I purchase a ticket for only one or two days?
No, not at this point. It is possible this option will open up later, but we have no plans to offer it at the moment.
What will happen each day?
It will be a mixture of three elements: 1) Talks/Panels/Interviews with some of the leaders in wisdom and technology; 2) Break-out Sessions focused on specific interests, such as wisdom & youth or wisdom & games; and 3) Time in select tribes or collectives where you can share your experiences and engage with others.
Will you also hold an East Coast conference?
We are in discussions about it, but we have nothing to announce at this time.
If I do not buy an early bird ticket, and they sell out, can I email you later in the year asking to reverse time so I can purchase one?
Sorry, no can do. Please be respectful of our ticket pricing levels, and register as early as you can to get the best deal!
What about the unconference at Google?
We are building unconference aspects into the regular session. If there is enough interest, we will ask Google about holding an unconference there the weekend before, February 15th and 16th. Or, we could have one mid-year -- please let us know your thoughts on the subject here.
Will there be a party in the evening again?
If you need to cancel for any reason you must notify us by January 21th, 2013 for a refund. For tickets cancelled before September 1st, 2012, you will receive a refund less 25% of your purchased ticket price; for tickets cancelled between September 1 and January 21st, you will receive a refund less 50% of your purchased ticket price. Cancellations must be in writing, preferably by email: email@example.com. Tickets cancelled after January 21th, 2013 are not eligible for a refund.*
You cannot transfer your ticket to someone else. We also cannot issue partial-refunds or support partial-ticket-swaps of any kind.
In the unlikely event that the conference is cancelled, we will refund all tickets. We will not, however, be able to refund flight, hotel, or other purchases people may make. All listed speakers are confirmed--however, sometimes life events such as sickness or death in the family prevent them from making it at the last minute.
